For those that have seen me this week, you will already know that last week, I was sick!
To those that called last week and rather grumpily hung up when I said, ‘too sick to work…’ count your blessings.
I am convinced I had Man Flu! I tried that 50.00 test; if there was 50.00 on your lawn, would you get up and go and get it?
No.
So I had Man Flu, had to be man flu, what else could it have been?
Now I have stopped sneezing long enough for my brain to quit feeling dazed, now I can smell again, now I am not aching from the top of my head to the tips of my toes, I am happily back in the cheerie realms of sexy lingerie and lip gloss! I have very much missed my work and I do apologise most sincerely to those that tried for a booking but got disapointed last week. You really would not have wanted to catch this though…
So, Easter is over. Did you all eat too much chocolate? I was spared that as I could barely sip soup. I have decided, with the weather coming good, the days being longer and the body feeling better, it is perhaps time to hit the gym once again. I have been far too busy of late to go. Come Monday morning I will be back slogging it out with the best of them. If I do not have the discipin of a gym, I would happily lay about all day doing little to no actual exercse. Not really the best of ideas when you have to slip into a skimpy number at an hours notice and look your best for a fella.
This week I have been blessed with the nicest of clients, I thank you all! There is nothing better than good manners and a smile, both go a long way in my book.
I will be taking this weekend off as I have a lot of catching up to do on paperwork and other essential jobs such as, shooping for stockings and the safety measures of condoms! I am hoping the weather satys fine as it truly is a fantastic place to live here by the sea in Swansea when the weather is favourable.
I don’t think many hold my view of the sea being at it’s best when it’s stormy. That is my view yes but that is not to say I don’t appreciate a calm flat and not a breeze to cause a ripple… As a local, from this time of year onwards I dare only visit the beaches and cliffs unless it’s very early morning or getting into dusk, far too many tourists about during the day-time and far, far too few places to park up without getting a ticket for your efforts! The traffic becomes silly. The small children galavanting about trebles! And you know what? I miss those dogs on the beaches… Come May there will be no dogs on the beaches until September.
Although there is the demise of the dog on our beaches now, there are certainly plenty of other things to observe, the watersports – no, not that sort of watersports! I mean the surfing and sailing!
As the weather heats up more, the teenagers come out and launch themselves off the dock into the high tide. The bikers come out and, all dressed in leathers, sit and eat ice-creams outside the cafe! Suddenly stalls appear selling all sorts of silver jewellery and mystical beads. You get to see a lot of feet in a lot of sandals and a lot of feet are not very pretty in actual fact! I will have you all know my feet are actually quite lovely!
Everybody seems to smile more when the sun is out and boy, do we need smiles right now? I am so tired of hearing about the world’s sickening financial climate that when the actual climate heats up, the smiles that it brings are a welcome blessing from all that doom and gloom and pouting and shouting. Can the newspapers not print even one good story at the moment, aside from Simon Cowell still making a profit that is!
Well guys, that’s it for now. A totally boring blog today given I have been too ill to get up to anything very interesting! If you have the sun, go out and enjoy it…. Dare I say it, let’s hope this is not our ‘summer’.
